As spring commencement approaches, The Ohio State University continues to promote student success and faculty excellence, President Kristina M. Johnson and Executive Vice President and Provost Melissa Gilliam said during the State of Academic Affairs address last week.
Congratulations to the 2023 University Outreach and Engagement Award recipients! The awards honor faculty, staff, students and community partners for outstanding achievement in producing engaged scholarship and community impact. Awards were given in the following categories: Community Engaged Scholar, Community Engaged Practitioner, High Impact Program and Community Partnership.
Three faculty members were announced recently as 2023 President and Provost's Award for Distinguished Faculty Service recipients.
The Ohio State University’s Kirwan Institute for Race and Ethnicity marks its 20th anniversary this year. Building on its work over the past two decades, the Kirwan Institute will embark on a strategic visioning process this spring that is scheduled to be completed this fall, said Executive Director Ange-Marie Hancock.
