Political science ranks second for scholarly productivity out of 120 PhD-granting institutions.
A recent peer-reviewed article ranked the Department of Political Science second for scholarly productivity. Ohio State’s political science faculty produced 98.53 publications per faculty member across three decades, second only to Harvard University, demonstrating outstanding faculty achievement.
